The Boathouse

Escape the rush of the city at The Boathouse, a contemporary lakeside retreat surrounded by water and forest. Open the bifold doors, breathe in the cool lake air and settle into uninterrupted views from the deck.

 

Perfect for couples, with room for up to 6 guests, the Boathouse offers a queen bed, loft futon and sofa bed, all linen included. Unwind in the deep bath for two, cook in the fully equipped kitchen or barbecue on the deck, then dream around the fire pit beneath the stars.

 

Spend slow afternoons on the deck, cosy up beside the wood fire on cool evenings, and enjoy a peaceful stay with books, music and films at hand. The Boathouse is a non-smoking cottage made for switching off.

Follow the little path into a hidden rainforest dell and discover Romany Wood—a soulful glamping hideaway beside the creek. Sleep beneath canvas in a sumptuous bell tent, wake to birdsong, and let the forest set the rhythm for a slow, romantic escape.

 

Cook and linger on the covered timber deck, then slide open the caravan barn door to a tiny world of William Morris wallpaper, handmade charm, a cosy daybed and a crackling wood fire.

 

As evening falls, pour a glass of wine and gather around the fire pit, with only the creek, trees, night birds and stars for company.

 

With a full bathroom, outdoor kitchen and room for up to 4 guests in a second tent, Romany Wood blends creature comforts with a touch of wild-hearted magic.

and finches, white headed pigeons, honeyeaters, catbirds and king parrots.
