Mother of Ducks Cottage is a 100 year old cottage relocated from Ipswich. It is large, relaxed and comfortable and can easily accommodate six people - a queen size four poster bed in the green room, two singles and a trundle in the blue room and a double sofa bed in the living room. All bedding and linen is provided.

French doors open out onto the wrap around veranda from the bedroom and living room allowing cooling breezes to flow through the house and to give you wide views of the lake. A large living / dining room with comfy sofas and a wood fire, books and magazines to read, music to listen to and a TV also opens out onto the veranda. You will also find some games – petanque, darts, cards and board games for light amusement.

Opening from the kitchen with its large gas stove/oven is the Outdoor Kitchen with its large Rinnai Outdoor Kitchen/Barbecue and cane chairs and tables – a great spot for breakfast.

The gardens around Mother of Ducks are largely edible with olives trees providing privacy, a hedge of rosemary, mulberries, loquats, tamarillos, passion fruit and rhubarb as well as lots of herbs to add to your cooking. Mother of Ducks cottage is a non smoking cottage.
